Joe & Carlos met in 2019 as financial advisors for a military bank. On their off times, they often got together to hike many national parks around various states. After a turbulent time in the finance industry, Joe & Carlos decided to turn their hobby into a lifestyle.
Joseph Paul Nichols
Joe was born in Canton Ohio. Joined the Navy at 19. Lived in Puerto Rico, Virginia Beach, and now Arizona for the last 17 years. Joe loved to travel and has hiked many National Parks including Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Saguaro, White Sands, and more. Joe has a bachelors in psychology from The University of Phoenix. He is married, has 3 sons, a cat, fish, and 2 geckos.
Carlos Ignacio Contreras Colmenero
Carlos was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Has spent some years in El Paso Texas, San Antonio Texas, Phoenix Arizona, Okinawa Japan, Jacksonville North Carolina. After spending some years in the United States Marine Corps he migrated back to Phoenix and received a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Economics from Grand Canyon University. Has enjoyed various hikes in Arches, White Sands, Zion, Canyonlands, Sedona, Flagstaff, Phoenix and many more new adventures still lie ahead. He has 2 amazing little girls, a siberian husky and a cat that hangs out nearby. Carlos enjoys bringing new experiences and adventures to everyone he meets.
